My Herne Bay

An art exhibition of Herne Bay people by Herne Bay people. A collaboration with artists Rob Turner and Jo Dyer as part of Animate Arts. Four portraits of Herne Bay young people temporarily displayed for the duration of the summer festival. Each portrait was converted into a mosaic, painting by numbers to create photo realist portraits of local people. Carried out with NHS patients and workers at Durham House, a local mental health support group and also young people and families involved in a joint Family Management programme, supported by Kent People’s Trust. ​
